Alright doll-face, c'mon and bore me!
    From MoneyTalksNews.com:

"If you love Amazon’s Prime Day, the 2019 version promises to be better than ever before.

Amazon has announced that its annual shopfest will be spread out over two days this year — it will start at midnight on Monday, July 15, and run for 48 hours.

The online retail giant says it will offer more than one million deals worldwide during the 48-hour Prime Day event."

    :notsure:

Last year was a huge disappointment; I don't have high-hopes for this year, but we'll see...

    Just 3 tons of fun!!!

Oh, I have no doubt they'll have a "deal" on a million items.

Hopefully it wont just be a million "deals" on million different useless items like last year.

I sat there, for about 10 minutes, with my cursor hovering over the Buy Now button on that one. But they were out of stock on the neon green/ fuchsia stripe that I had my heart set on... so I had to pass.

IMO, Prime Day, Cyber Monday, and Black Friday have all really become just average sales. Gone are the days where you can get insane deals, now it is the same as any other big semi-annual sale or flash sale. If you know how to online shop, deals are everywhere every single day.

If anyone hasn't heard of it yet, check out slickdeals.net, great website that organizes a lot of flash sales and deals for a variety of items in one spot.

The bigger problem is with how big Amazon has become, and how they expect everyone to want THEIR items. Their "promoted" or "sponsored" items.
Just like how woot became a cesspool for only Amazon items, and they lost lots of customers.

I do like me some Amazon though.

I have Coffee, Dog Food, Laundry Detergent, Toilet Paper, Paper Towels, and a few other items, set up on auto deliver. Less trips to the Wally World circus the better.

I also find deals on lots of items. Especially when Warehouse Deals show up on items. I just set up wish lists with items I'm looking at and go back and check them periodically. I've found an OEM transmission mount at 75% off... OEM lower ball joints half off... and all kinds of other stuff.

But their "Amazon Day" has definately become less and less exciting over the last couple years.
