I've been looking into making a roof rack like the Prinsu one.

I found that they sell the aluminum extrusions at TNUTZ. But I'm still looking on how to make the sides and the "feet".

Anyone has done something like this? It looks pretty easy to make :)

Amazon sells it. Like you mentioned, tying it into the roof is where people get creative. I've seen a few homemade setups featuring the slotted bars. Search for it, you probably can find some examples to give you some ideas.

I have a full prinsu, if I was to make my own, I would make it wider than 47". That drives me nuts.

looking at making the side pieces and bolting angle aluminum for the feet. keeps it simple vs trying to have legs and breaking them. the bottom contour looks like it'll be the trickiest part since the cab is curved. hard to find a good reference point.

IF I had one in person to measure I would duplicate in CAD and have laser cut. Let me know if you find one to take measurements from.
