    Hey All,

New here! I've been looking around past threads trying to find some direction in the way of modding my stock 2019 TRD Off Road grille. I like everything about the stock grille minus the chrome rim of it. Before I commit to taking the thing off and painting it, I was wondering if any of you had seen or have anything similar for inspiration.

    Cheers!

Wow! That makes a huge difference! Thank you much!
What did you use to paint it?
(I like the matching Infernos you got going on there too!)

I didn't paint it. I bought the black trim ring that is made for the SR. I can get you part number if you want it.
And thanks, the Rav4 was the first of the fleet, that was the wifes choice.
    Also, Welcome to TW.

I'd get the black SR trim piece before I'd plastidip it. Once and done. No worries about rock chips, scrubbing off stuck on bugs, etc.

Plastidip is the cheaper option, obviously. But 2 years from now, you might wish you'd just installed the SR trim piece in the first place.

Nothing wrong with plastidip. I'd just go a different direction, personally.

Does the part number guarantee the color (black)?
I found the part, but it does not specify a color and the image of the product is just the technical drawing.

Yes, that part number is for the black ring.
