hello friends of Tacoma world, I hope to explain my problem, I have a Tacoma first generation manual transmission, when I go to speed between 65 and 70 miles per hour, a small vibration starts but I feel it is in the transmission, not in the engine, similarly I start to decelerate 80 or 75 down and feel the vibration stronger, I feel the accelerator pedal with a lot of vibration also when I stop accelerating, someone who will happen something the same with your truck, thanks for your answers.

has constant maintenance, change ball joints, cv axles, timing belt, water pump, that I did a couple of months ago, has recent alignment a month ago, only makes me that vibration when I go up or down speed

    80 on i80 i like it!
Montana had no speed limit during the day last time I was there
    is it still the case?

OP, don't be going that fast until this situation is resolved
some have said the Tacoma's LBJs go sooner or later
you changed those so should be good on LBJs
    steering column and associated parts?

Check for slop or wear in the rubber bushing of the center bearing, shouldn't be more than 1/2" of play when you move the shaft around. Also check your Ujoints, they will certainly cause vibrations if you've got one on the fritz

not saying this is your issue but it is one possibility... if the truck in question is the one in your profile, the 4X4, you could be feeling the vibration from the D/S inner CV joint. East Coast Gear Supply makes a bushing to replace the caged needle bearing from the factory. If after you have exhausted everything else this just might solve it.

The double Cardan joint if you have one if it’s wearing out will do this.

You have to look really closely to see if it’s wearing out.
Take photos and zoom in on the joint.

The one on the right was worn out even though a quick look at it, it looks ok.

There is a zerk grease fitting hidden in there that tends not to get greased

Vibrations that occur around 60-70 mph, and no steering wheel shake? Something you feel "by the seat of your pants"? My experience with those symptoms is that it could also be an unbalanced rear tire. (Just thought I'd mention it...:gossip: )

Looks like a bad carrier bearing.
Well this way you know your starting at zero miles on all the driveshaft parts and don’t have to worry about any failures in that area for another 300,000 miles hopefully
