    It's DLX son!
Was going to wait until I had a full tank through to provide a comment on MPG numbers, but I'll have to follow up with that.

I have been running the @JustDSM N/A base tune optimizations since Friday and it's made me look forward to driving my truck more than any other modifications I have made. Even with much more spirited driving than normal I am on pace to match or exceed my normal miles per tank.

I don't care if it's not actually making higher peak #'s - the truck feels lighter and drives like I've always felt it should. This is how the 6-speed should have felt from the factory (well it should have had the taller FJ 6th gear, but I digress).

I'm so hooked I've ordered cam gears and am looking forward to seeing the results.

    Thanks JustDSM!

Awesome, be careful though... it’s a slippery slope. Don’t ask how I know

Oh, I've tumbled down it before. Still have a spare TDI long block in the garage I've been trying to sell. At least my current Tacoma has a Toyota motor in it still. ;)

So I’ve ordered HP tuner but haven’t received it.... can someone confirm weather or not the throttle crack adjustments are present or not?

It’s the main reason I ordered it.

For folks who have either been tuned by me, or need to collect datalogs for me. Please use the following channels config. file for general purpose logging when sending me logs. If you're conducting testing/etc. for me, please use this config file as well unless I provide you an alternate prior to testing.

    Unzip to the following directory:
    \Documents\HP Tuners\VCM Scanner\Channel Configs

Once you have the "TacomaworldGeneral.Channels" installed in the above directory, you'll want to open your VCM Scanner and locate the "Channels" tab. Open the tab and locate the yellow folder with a gear. Open that and select the TacomaworldGeneral.Channels file.

***You'll want to add in any Widebands or external sensors if you are logging those***

This will set-up your VCM Scanner to collect the data required to make corrections.

Yes sir! These include some of the new PIDs. I don't need to see all of the ones released, but the good stuff is in there :D

Reminds me. I need to get you some recent logs. Was hoping you could glance at my data and perhaps sprinkle a bit of yer magic.

I’ll futz with the laptop in the morning and load up the new config.

I may need a walk-through on the phone on what to do again. After all, like anything, tech saavy skills are a perishable skill. ;)

I compared the copy of this file you sent me yesterday to the one you sent last month and, unsurprisingly, found several changes. I assume we should use the latest/newest version this file and no need to keep old versions, unless otherwise instructed?
