    2016 and 2019 Tacoma TRD Access Cab Trucks
    Leer 180 Toppers on both trucks
    My name is Jack and I own two Toyota Tacomas both bought new and both equipped pretty much identically. One lives in Southern Utah and the other lives in Northern Wyoming. They are both mostly stock, TRD Offroads with Access Cab and Leer 180 Toppers. I have been very happy with the 2016. The 2019 only has 237 miles so I have not completely passed judgement but it seems just like the other one with slightly improved electronics. For me, the Tacomas are primarily camping vehicles and to a lessor extent, work trucks. I drive a Honda Fit as my daily driver.

    I have lurked on this forum since 2016 and have found it a useful resource. Most of the questions I have had have already been asked, discussed and answered so I did not find a huge reason to join. One of the things I spent a lot of time on this forum was getting ideas for a sleeping platform for my wife and me. Back in 2016 I got numerous good ideas but I ended up building something different from most of what I found on the forum. I should have taken pictures and posted at the time but I failed. But over the last few days, I have built an identical platform for the 2019 and I joined to post the photos of my build. They will be posted in another thread within the day. I still need to organize and photoedit them.
