Aside from a fixture to get everything in the right place when you're zapping it all together.. you have any other quality checks in place after that like a inspection jig or something so you can pass/fail assemblies that are boned?

I was just about to place an order tonight because they have a great sale going on but then I came across this. I am honestly torn on what to do but leaning against buying them because I don't want to deal with the chance of having bad/damaged sliders with poor customer service.

RRW, sway my thoughts because right now I can't feel confident placing an order.

    Sorry for the late response,

Been helping with the production side to make sure our jigs are 110%.

We worked really hard on the jig to make sure that ever part is snug & secure in the jig. The issue with our old jig is that we were using the angle iron which holds the tubes in a V shape so our old fabricators wouldn't be able to see if the bottom of each slider piece was in contact with surface of the angle iron.

Our new jig has a open box shape so each piece slides in and sits snug into the placement, Our fabricator knows that if there are any gaps between the surface of the jig and slider piece it's a no go. Also we have multiple checks to make sure the welds are complete. We have a small measurement stick to test certain parts that are crucial to make sure its in the right place. We will also do another weld check on our end when it gets back to us before we send it out to powder.

I totally understand how you feel. We definitely learned a huge lesson throughout this ordeal and it definitely showed us we don't have the capacity to do them in house yet. We have specialists that have over a decade of experience in fabricating off-road parts and the quality of their work will meet or exceed the standard.

I haven't been posting on the threads but I've been in contact with all the people that have been having issues and taking care of this issue.

And again we're deeply sorry for this whole mess but we will learn from our mistakes and continue to strive to bring in quality products @ affordable pricing.

So back to using a fabricator outside of your location again? When will the V2 be available? I saw pictures on IG but they look to be way different and missing the full top plate design.

Still putting all the pieces together..
I have to say that Michael and Ray have both been in contact with me and are taking the necessary steps to correct the issues that arose. I would be confident that the new version will be 100%.. I really do love my sliders and the way they look on my truck..

If you haven't seen the V2 from their IG here it is. Way different and not as unique in design IMO.

For anyone still following along here, it's more like V4

V1 - The round tube design still pictured in the first post

V2 - Added kickout supports, support gussets and an RRW step plate, these are still pictured on their website

V3 - Smaller gussets without notch, larger step plate, plastic end caps and changed to in-house production (read through the thread for the history)

V4 - Promised to make things right and fix all the issues from V3 (Post #899 lists the changes that were being made)

Glad to hear that you have been making things right for those with issues from V3 but why wasn't an update posted here for V4?

    Why post on Instagram first?

Remember all the talk of transparency, good will and communication?

Haven't released the "V4" because we wanted to fix the issues for the "V3" first. That's why the "V4s" aren't listed on our website.

So if I buy your sliders, what am I buying? And can you promise on this thread that all issues are fixed/resolved?

I just ordered a set on Friday and thought I was getting what is pictured on their site. Don't really like the design of the V2 at all. The square and round tubing looks weird.

You will probably get the ones pictured on their site since the V2 hasn't been released yet but I would follow up with them to make sure. I agree with you though, I do not like the new design either.

I hope I get the round tube design. I emailed them. Let's see what they say.

Ordered DEC 13, received them MAY 7, and refunded AUG 14 ...glad you got it sorted out, that upside down step plate was the best o_O

This thread has been dead for over a month now with unanswered questions, was surprised to see new activity

    I wonder what happened with @dasjr2000 ?

Did they shipped him something that was already built and in stock or is he still waiting for something to be built?

    Wonder if he'll get V3 or V4?
