2019 Keyless Entry

I bought a 2019 SR. It came with standard key, no buttons. It has power door locks. There is no way to unlock the passenger door from the outside. My question is, if I buy key fobs does the truck come from the factory with the module/electronics to be programmed to?

 

Welcome to the site. No, it does not work with factory key fobs. I got a Viper alarm installed for under $200 and came with two key fobs.

If you just want keyless entry the Viper 211hv is $80 retail and installation should be about $60. If you want a full alarm with keyless the 3105v is $150 retail and installation should be about $80. These prices are full retail. You can definitely find them cheaper.

Why not contact @N2DesignsInc on this forum and kill two birds with one stone. You can get what you are looking for plus remote start.

 

3105V. I paid $189 installed. Look for good reviews on wherever you're getting it done. My installer took 1.5 hours installing as it was his first time working on a 3rd Gen but he did a clean and proper job as I inspected all his work.
