    Looks like the app on the phone works via bluetooth. Is that safe? How close does the key fob need to be is my question.
    I might go see these guys and ask some Q's. @pete37 you got everyone paranoid now.
    If I knew I could get a good deal out of it from the insurance, I would leave the keys in the ignition with a latte and croissant on the dash.

    Got the canoe crossbars on the rack.

    7AD9B176-0441-48DB-8D6A-732089AB8E1F.jpg

    They’re just 3/4” aluminum conduit. I was going to go with 1” steel tubing but thought that would be overkill. I can hang my full weight from the edge of the bar and it doesn’t bend so I’d call that good for an 80lb canoe. Going to make some adjustable gunwale stays so there’s 0 possibility of side to side movement while the canoe is up there.

    It's the SSO Slim line Hybrid Bumper, and as the name states, it's a Hybrid system.

    it's actually bought/ assembled in 2 parts.

    part 1;
    Which is JUST the front bumper that replaces the chin on the Taco. Costs around $650 USD for the barebones entry but goes up to $1600 USD for the creme de la creme.

    Part 2;
    is JUST the wings (these Bolt onto the Front bumper mentioned above and seem to have some helft) and the cost is only $350 which is hell of a lot better than paying another $1000 for a full high clearance setup.

    @Norilsk and myself are debating to group buy it. as much as i love MobTown's overbuilt nature, at least in the terms of the front bumper i'd rather go for SSO for the option to upgrade to the stage 2.
    but i still want the MobTown sliders. I'm hell bent for those:spy:

    One thing I like about the Warn one is .... no cutting. Can remove it and go back to stock as if nothing happened.

    Who needs 'Tarded Sissy Sense anyways. Sensor will crap out in a couple years anyways and just be another warning light on the dash to annoy you. :crapstorm:
    Once you have that big stinger bar out front, just push the shit outa your way. :burnrubber:

    The taller stinger/roo bar does help with animal strikes and preventing front rollovers .

    I do like the SSO with stage 2 better though, but knowing me, I'd have to buy another front bumper to cut up before I put it on.

    I guess I spent too many years restoring old cars as a hobby, going nuts tracking down old OEM parts and making things look stock again had more of an affect on me than I'd like to admit. Lol

    I gotta do something soon about the Front and rear fascias though (sorry can't call them bumpers, as to me a bumper does not receive major damage when you run over a shrub, and these things would get damaged driving across my lawn if I didn't cut the grass first).
