My brother was a Flyers fan as a kid. You guys had a tough slog the last decade and Hextall never should of been handed the keys.

 

Gotcha lol. I’ll have to check that out, just figured I’d pop on here and introduce myself to my fellow hockey fans. Oh yeah, I’ve been flyer fan since the legion of doom when I was a kid. Those were the good years for the Flyers! Yeah I completely agree in regards to Hextall, hopefully we turned a new leaf with this new coach and things start getting better.

 

Hextall should definitely should still be here. I don’t like fletcher still but I’m hoping this coach is able to make what he sees in this team happen. Not a fan of the gudas move and I think Hayes is over paid but we shall see. Let’s go flyers

 

Yeah man I’m pissed about gudas, fingers crossed we finally landed the right coach. I could see us giving Hextall another two years I suppose because he didn’t finish what he started. I think they wanted him to comprise in his vision and he wouldn’t. So I applaud him for that. Heck of a goalie and brought some serious passion to the Flyers!

From what I've been hearing the sharks are looking to make a deal for him.

 

It might of been a stipulation in the trade. It’s not illegal for a team to request their trading partner to buy out the players contract, rather than let him play the season under his old deal, in order to prevent the player from triggering an over 35 cap hit should he retire mid next season.
