Any ETA on kits. Read on Instagram a guy mentioned minimum a year on supercharger and two years still on twin turbos?

    How many???

That’s the big unknown. For Mat, it’s high risk, high reward... as it ever has been for entrepreneurs.

I think they’re selling like 25k trucks a month? So 300k a year. I’m guessing 70% of those are V6. 1/2 a percent of those is then 1050 a year. Perhaps we’re doubly optimistic and 525 a year is better. Perhaps we’re quadruple optimistic and it’s only 262 a year. Let’s go another tenth and call it 26 a year. I really don’t know, obviously. But Mat seems to think his time and effort is worth spending in the hopes of a good business return. One sale a week is ~0.02% of the available sales.

I won’t do it myself until I have a trailer that warrants the extra power, but 50+ HP will keep me from having a second truck or trading this for a full size.

I’d really love to have ‘the little engine that could’ wrapped up in a taco.

    <edit> #350HPTaco. :)

Looks like Stew's truck is getting a make-over: New LT kit with 3" fenders, BBK and C38-91. It's going to eat up dirt, mud, pavement and Ranger Raptors and look a lot meaner doing it.

This kit will definitely be a popular aftermarket buy for such a large market. I was in the market for a Raptor but didn't want to spend $75,000 on a truck without mods. The Taco platform offers so much more but it was the potential promise of a FI kit (and 6 spd MT) that made me pull the trigger on a Taco.

I honestly think there is a market to purchase a new modified Taco; similar to what Hennessey or Roush does for Ford. Offer a package to be installed after delivery of a new truck (basic or midlevel Taco), equipped with aftermarket suspension & wheels, FI kit, exhaust, lockers/gears, & armor. The price point could be very reasonable and well equipped for less than a well equipped stock Raptor.

I'll take #4 in line for the OVT SC kit please.

No. Dear God No. Aren't fake hood scoops and fake beadlocks enough? I swear, sometimes I think these trucks should come with spray tans ans inflatable love dolls from the factory. Real=better.
