Took the kiddo out for breakfast this morning, just the two of us. She his growing up so fast.

Man I hope your daughter isn't like my niece. We went up to Washington for her graduation party and I spent over 1200 bucks on computer parts, took a few hours to build her a super nice PC and I get a half dead sounding thank you. Her and my 22 year old nephew are just total unappreciative little shits. I told my brother this as we were leaving and we almost got in a fight. Don't ever say anything about his little dirtbags. I'm so done with my family. Now that they are "adults" I'm done with them.

But understanding from their point of view, you built them a Ford Model A.

They want a Honda Civic.

They dont see it the same way unfortunately and wont for 5-6 years, then you actually may get a sincere thank you.


Had you built them a convertible tablet or someone cutting edge like a molecular transporter they would have been super appreciative.

 

It's not even that. I did a massive upgrade from her computer because she wants nothing more than to be a YouTube star. I did this to help her pursue this ridiculous dream because she has been complaining about it for months.

My brother said it was because she is shy...

 

Sweet, I usually fish with Josh Brooks on the Huntress out of Homer as well. I’ve caught some great halibut up there.

I used to think that way but since when do they give you a 2 week notice when you get fired or let go

 

I usually do, but how my vacation and their start date lined up, it was my only option. When it comes to a 20% raise, I'll try, but when push comes to shove...

 

I’ve only quit on a company once but that was after explaining my frustrations with them multiple times but other then that I’ve always put in 2 weeks
