Or worse. "My inheritance" is on a bus frame , and its issues are electrical, plumbing, batteries, and tires. Better built just means tougher problems.

If it belongs to him, he is responsible for maintenance, so yea kind of his fault. Most likely he was driving down a steep grade and burned up his brakes. I see it a lot. I'm on the local volunteer fire dept and our town is at the base of a mountain. Semi -trucks and RV's burn up their brakes all the time. Idiots don't know the simple concept of down shifting and going slow.

Not permanently. They intended to get a 5th wheel and ended up with a rolling mortgage. 15 years later and we're still giving him shit for it.
Uh...you obviously don't understand what actually happens in this thread. The parts of Florida we highlight aren't the ones you want to brag about.

My folks went from a 22-foot trailer to a PoS RV to an actually pretty good, pretty reliable RV. When they got out of the last one they got a small fraction of what they paid for it, even though it was still in fine operating condition. Depreciation is insane on those things.

They also called up before they bought the last one and said "we're spending your inheritance!" Shrug. It's their money.

Alabama has its fair share of miscreants as well! I've partied and passed out in my own puke in Ybor City as a young buck though!

Wish they'd do that more down here. The roadside isn't yer frickin ashtray.

Canadian driver slapped with $430 fine for tossing lit cigarette out his window: 'I didn't want my car to burn'

Canadian police are cracking down on drivers this month as officers hand out tickets with hefty fines to careless motorists.

Victoria Police Chief Del Manak stopped a car on Highway 17 near Quadra St. in Saanich at around 6:20 p.m. Friday after the driver reportedly tossed a lit cigarette out his window in front of Manak’s patrol unit.

When asked why, the driver told Manak “I didn’t want my car to burn.”

The officer warned the unidentified man not to “smoke in your car”, also slapping him with a $575 ticket, around $432 USD.

    Isn't it their money.

Love when kids tell parents what they should spend their money on.

My plan is to be flat broke and their inheritance is what they came in with.

My parents are $30K upside down in an RV they can't sell and don't drive, and remind them about it every time they bitch about their bills.

Nope. Just my problem as the executor. We're still trying to find ways to give it up.

Anyone want to buy a 46' Monaco coach RV with wood panels, full carpet, granite counters, satellite TV, and a queen sized sleep number bed for $30K over market value?

Bank still wants its money. Surrendering an RV is still an expensive proposition, because the banks still want their money.

Copy, I had a sailboat to get rid of when my father passed. Paid it off - much less than $30k - and then turned around and donated it to a charity.

Not and make any money off of it. That was one of the first things we tried to do.

Never finance an RV, boys and girls. If you can't pay cash for it, you probably don't need it.
