The landscapers cracked my left rear taillight last week with their mower. So I ordered another one online. Pulled the old one out, installed the new one and tightened the bolts lightly and the bottom of the taillight pops out. It seems that the retention clip is bad. I tried a small piece of electrical tape but it didn't hold.

Anyone know where I can get replacement clips without having to order the entire fender from Toyota? I found some clips online at eBay but they appear to be for Dodge Ram.

    Thanks

Man, that was fast I think you got it. Thanks Toyota dealer here doesn't know a thing about it. Unavailable. Worst Toyota dealer in the country. I googled couldn't find a thing.

I looked up the part number 90189-06077 and photos found some that are square and some that are round. Mine is round. so thank you, I'll order this part online. I figured this was going to be one of those you'll never find it things. lol

Now that I think about it my left rear fender was replaced 7 years ago after some kids rolled a dumpster into it when I lived up north. Probably different clips that came with the replacement fender so I think you nailed the right ones. I can pull out right taillight and verify.

Now, in a couple hours I am going to walk out onto the beach and look south and watch SpaceX launch the Falcon Heavy. Should be a nice show if they get it up there tonight. Understand they have "Scotty" for Star Trek ashes and that of 99 other people going up for final disposition.

    Thanks Again

That was quite Spectacular!... Even from my house across the state...
1st stage separation was clearly visible and the re-entry burn as well.

Was pretty amazing. We went out to the beach and sat there and had a couple of beers. . We were the only people there and it was dark as heck. We took a lantern and turned it off right before the launch as I took my fishing pole. I caught two bonnethead sharks about 3 feet long and a small ray on dead shrimp. Here's some photos a guy took just east of us in Palm Valley and along the intracoastal.

It was amazing watching the boosters reignite and head back to the Cape to land.

In 1986 I stood in my backyard in Ocala and watched the Challenger explode. That was horrific. I watched shuttle launches all the time, so it was fun to see this one go off at night. I ended up watching on youtube until 430 am as the thing deployed satellites My sleep pattern is still out of whack

When they launch the new manned capsule in the next few months I'm planning on driving down to the cape and watch that one from Cocoa Beach.

Well I started this threat looking for taillight clips which seemed to be elusive. I ordered some and they are in my mailbox so I am going to go out and pick them up and see if they are the correct ones as I found two photos of them which differ. One round, one smaller and square..... ……. edited.... they are the right ones!

I ordered the clips Tuesday from the part number you provided. One photo for the part showed a square clip and another a round clip So I took a shot. I ordered 6 just for the heck of it. Just arrived in the mail and opened them up and they are the round ones which I required. So thanks to you, I am good to go. Ands the Toyota dealer out of Richmond Virginal wrapped them up very nicely and shipped in a 9" x 6" x 4" box with tons of strapping tape. Talk about overkill lol. A bubble envelope might have sufficed. Thanks Again!

 An 8' long box for 6 clips? Wow. That must have cost them a fortune to ship.

was 9 inches long not 96 lol typo I'm still half asleep from staying up and watching that dang rocket. It didn't cost them anything since they charged me for the shipping and tracking no. $8. ridiculous...….. but I can't have my taillight popped out .
