    Hi there.
    This is my first post.

    I have a 2011 Tacoma. 4 door with a 6' bed.
    I've had this 3 years.

When I am on the highway, between 65-75 speed my steering wheel bounces.

I've had tires checked 3 times for balance.
I've also had a few tire pressure problems.
There is a 10 pound difference between suggested pressure of the truck and the actual tires.

I need to be between the 2, one is to soft where I feel like the truck floats and the other is like being on ice.

But thr bounce problem is getting bad, and different garages can't find s problem.

Guy at work suggested it's the suspension but I don't know.

    Any ideas?

Are the wheels balanced properly? Are they chasing weights when they balanced them? If you have the tires rotated does it go away? What are your alignment specs? Are you lifted? Lowered?

I haven't done any modifications. So as far as I know it's all original.
After balance it's got a little better but was still there.

Last time the guy changed some weight.
Tires look like they are wearing evenly also

What tires are you running? Brand and model. How many miles on the truck? Stick your head under the truck and see what color the shocks are.

could it be wheel bearings, or u joints, or tie rods, or out of balance tires?

Op, post a video so we can see if it’s a bounce or a vibration of the steering wheel

I have never heard of those tires. Maybe best to switch to a good name brand tire

I will get a video next time I am on the highway which probably won't be until Monday.

I will most likely be getting tires before winter.
These tires are roughly three years old, and I've probably put 70 to 80000 miles on them.

On that note has anybody heard of a tire store called Town Fair tire?
I don't know the quality of them.
But you can basically buy tires and get rims for a close to $50 each.

OP, don't buy crap tires. On top of that, at 80k miles, I'm sure they need to be replaced. Even if there is still tread left, the rubber compound is probably dry rotting.

A tire and wheel for 50 bucks? I wouldn’t put that on a lawnmower

    "I have a 2011 Tacoma. 4 door with a 6' bed"
2wd or 4wd, sport, offroad, any mods so we can maybe point you in the right direction.

The 4wd Double Cabs all are prone to tire shake so a road force balance is standard on them and that also tells if any crappy tires or rims as well as allows the mechanic to rotate the heavy part of the tire opposite from any heavy part on rim. A crappy balance job can vibrate your teeth. I run 35 psi all tires. As stated above tires, rims, bearings , also possible shocks, CVs, and could be drivetrain, tire cord separation internally (truck wanders around)or the rear bouncing. If you throw a rear brake drum balance weight (they are spot welded on the outside) the wheel will vibrate and or bounce - had that one recently. Stay away from cheapo tires and wheels as everyone said. The el dorado sport tour 245/75/16 is an economy tire with 60,000 warranty I looked it up. If the same shop has been taking care of you for 3 years and no problem then good luck on your quest.

Oh no it's buy a tire and get the rim for 50$ or so.
Still would end up 800$-1000$ for the truck.

    Shocks do look kinda bad.
Should I stick with same ones or maybe get ones for a softer ride?

Typically trd shocks are blue and yellow. Ditch the generic tires.

I have seen a tire with a separated steel belt in it do this. And it may or may not show up when your local tire shop is balancing it. Only shows up when weight is put on it and driving down the road.
