Cheers man! Glad that worked out for you. It’s a small thing, but makes these trucks so much more enjoyable to drive.

Another good story. Thanks for sharing. I think this might help some people realize the benefit of a real alignment at a shop that specializes in this service. It’s not much money in most cases.

So many people keep trying to say “use the firestone lifetime alignment deal!” But when you have a lifted truck with bigger tires - firestone is no longer the ‘go-to’ shop for an alignment. Of all the things we do to our trucks, having them drive straight and true is one of the MOST IMPORTANT. We have IFS so we don’t want our trucks darting around like solid axle jeeps. Get a quality alignment with a shop that can talk with you about how your needs for an alignment are different from the other 90% of the population. Shops that know what they’re doing will know right away how to get you sorted.

Pretty much all the Firestone stores in Utah went under. I think there are only 1-2 left. Lots of people lost their lifetime alignments.

When I picked up my truck they had an SPC poster on the wall talking about alignment issues, causes, and corrections and it showed the adjustable control arms. I asked him if I needed them on my truck to get better numbers than what he was able to get. Russ said not unless I add another half inch or more of lift and I might if I go to a significantly larger tire size. But he thought he still had enough adjustment to handle 285’s or 255/85 in my stock UCA’s. Russ was also aware of the Total Chaos, Camburg, JBA, etc.. UCA’s and discussed pros and cons on them. So nice when people shoot straight with you rather than try to up sell you. Dealer told me during both prior alignments I’d need UCA’s if I wanted better #’s.
