Oh I’m sure that didn’t just get Hoovered into the intake filter. That cage looks pretty flimsy for the price you pay for a snorkel!

 

Yea no joke, this gives me a reason to change to a square head though since I never really liked the Airflow style.

As for the piece of plastic, I doubt it made it all the way to the filter since there is so many ripples and bends in the air tract but who knows. Gonna stick my shop vac down in there and see what I get lol

 

Probably get a bird’s nest and every cigarette butt thrown out on the highway. A square cap is a smart idea.

Could you cut those out and use metal? Like drill holes verticly through it, cut the metal short so there's a space on each side to fill with jb weld?
