I decided to replace these tires with some Michelin Defenders. I started doing some highway driving that changed my requirement. Huge difference in price, but worth it. I downsized to 255/70R16.

The new tires are quiet and it sure rides better than it did with the 10+-year-old Bridgestone Duelers. The new tires are Nexen Rodian AT RA8 in 245/75R16.

We've been running these tires on another vehicle for over a year now. Based on that experience, we bought more. Purchased on Amazon for $100 each.

Now that the tires are quiet, I can hear all the OTHER SUSPENSION NOISES. I think my front shocks are noisy and worn out.

    One thing leads to another.

Glad they have worked for you. I on the other hand had poor experience with their car tires. Terrible when cold and worn in less that 25k on my A3.
My dad also had Nexens in his Grand Cherokee and they slid on snow and were loud at highway speed.

Several years ago, we bought a truck with Nexens on it. I didn't like them at all. They were old when I got the truck though. My son got wind of the RA8s from one of his friends who owns a garage. He tried them and liked them. At $100 a tire, they are not going to be a Michelin or top shelf BFG that sells for $200 each. Time will tell how these work out.
