they dont even make sliders for this thing. Not the intended purpose of this truck anyway, its only roll is a tow rig/dd. Im still up in the air though if i want to go full blown stage rally car with the focus, or build some sort of truck that could do rally and other offroad stuff.

You want to go look at it and see what is left of it?

I’m worried the radiator support is trash because of the impact

Or a super cheap beater woods rig. I use this pile to make trails on my property and on friends property.

Yea you could go that route. Personally, I would rather get some body damage on a newer reliable truck than breakdown in the woods several hours from home.

I emailed him already about the truck. I could ask him about the radiator support.

It's a Yota! Personally I prefer the older yota 4x4's. Only issue I've had while offroading is it would stall after hitting mud puddles fast causing a big splash, would fire back up after a few cranks. But after applying dielectric grease to my dizzy & coil harness connectors no problems now. I'm gonna make a trail rig out of my half-a-million mile Tacoma. I'm 45 and I've been Offroading yotas since I was in my early 20's with a lifted & bobbed 85 Hilux. In all those years I've never had to be towed home. That's why the only vehicles I own to this day is a Toyota. Yes I'm knocking on wood while writing this lol.

I would take this 25yo Toyota over a brand new Toyota any day. That's just me.

    Sounds good Joe.

I’m not sure what else i’d want off of it without actually seeing it in person

It would just cost me too much time and money to borrow my brother’s truck and uncle’s trailer to go get the whole truck, not to mention, i don’t really have a place to put it lol.

    Make sure you lowball

@AR15xAR10 looks like the ECGS bushing is gonna be soon my dude. I got some gear oil leaking where the axle mates up w the diff. In assuming a bad axle seal? Plus fill plug looks like whoever serviced it before stripped it out, doesnt even look like hex anymore almost looks like torx.

Order a fill plug, the bushing, an axle seal, and get some lucas 85-140w conventional gear oil (6qt to do the whole truck). Text me when you have all of it and we’ll set up a day to do it. Its a shame your truck is too tall to fit in my new shop space

Haha I knowww, the garage would be so nice. I replaced one of my LBJs yesterday in my parents driveway in direct sunlight and it was brutal. Thankfully they have a swimming pool so I had to hop in as soon as I finished.

I'm gonna order the stuff that we'll need tmrw. As far as oil, Im still undecided but I'm leaning toward sticking with the 75W90 that Toyota calls for in the manual

    No doubt! :)

Then order the gear oil online  i think toyota still sells it in metal tins.

But, i will say @ECGS told me 85-140w is what we should run...and they are the gear and locker specialists lol

My fault, you're probably thinking of the 75W85 that Toyota calls for in the diffs. Not a chance I'm paying them for that stuff lol. I'm still considering the 85-140 for the diffs, I gotta look into it a little more but I def wanna stick with 75-90 for the T-Case. Just figured I'd keep it consistent and use the same for all three.

Either way, I'll order all the stuff and hit you up

I run the 85-140 in my tcase, seems to be fine...but...I do need to replace the rear seal on my tcase. It weaps a little from time to time.

Lit, i’ll get you taken care of. But its been almost 4 years and now 43k miles....so you’re helpin’ !!
