Make sure to strengthen that tailgate if you haven't already!

I bought one and used it twice, on other cars. It's so nice not having to pull next to someone so the cables will reach.
Make sure you charge it before storing it in your car and read the directions, they tell you all about the flashing lights.

Washed my truck and had just enough time to put the stuff away before it started pouring.
Now the sun is out
I wanted to clay bar the truck and put some glaze on it.

What's the best way to remove the embedded dirt that was behind the flares?

It really does, and the front looks more like a 3rd gen 4runner the more and more I think about it hahah. I like the no flare look and it keeps the body all metal.
I used countersunk Phillip's head screws with finish washers into a nylon lock nut in the back so it doesn't wiggle out. I would have liked all black hardware but my local hardware only had brass

Finally got rid of the front license plate. I could have spent 30$ on color matched plugs but I just spray painted the bolts.

Inspected, cleaned and adjusted my brakes. Rears were way over-tightened by the Toyota dealer and the left rear shoe retaining springs had come off. Luckily, my brakes were not damaged.

Used the inverter to run my DeWalt angle grinder. Cut off Smittybuilt winch hook and replaced with a Factor 55 Flat Link.
Neighbors were outside enjoying their backyard so I didn't want to subject them to that noise.
It will run it but slows down with too much load. Had to use a light hand and take my time cutting through.

Tackled the dirt that was left behind the flares and my neglected paint (I only did the right bedside to see the results).
I used a clay bar, then glaze and finally wax. Looks much better, now I have to do the entire truck

I did the rear of the bedside without the clay and the front of the bedside with the clay.
Now to get a weekend where it doesn't rain at all.

Sitting in a chair all day won't help, moving around constantly helps keep mine loose

Well aware of that. Moving around is good but at the end of the day sometimes my back will tighten up and I have to lay down for an hour.

Shiny bedside. Still have to try and remove the line from the flare.

Same. Sometimes it's difficult and painful to walk, but it makes my back and legs loosen up and the end result is less stiffness and pain going into the next day. I also do more and keep the weight off while wearing myself out lol

Oh, regrettably, I understand that. My last job I had a 1 1/2 - 2 hour commute home. By the time I got home my hips were locked up and I would have to roll out of my DD onto the ground and hold onto the door to get back up. Every morning I get up I have to work myself around to loosen up. A hot shower letting the water pound on my back for a bit helps
