I made a sammich for lunch and using leftover BBQ chicken from last night to make BBQ chicken baked taters for dinner tonight.

Nope. I was lucky that it didn't burn too much of the rear shoes. I think I've got about 6-8 months of shoe left (original shoes). The fronts will need pads, rotors and calipers next month though.

This morning I did my old 150-point inspection (from when i was a used vehicle service tech for Saturn) and cleaned and adjusted the rear brakes. They were all kinds of messed up, but they're good now. I posted that, then I decided to get caught up on other things.

    1. I finished wiring up my license plate lights.
    0630191625_HDR.jpg

    2. Put conduit around the license plate wiring and third brake light wiring.

    3. Washed the truck including under the hood. My engine battery needs a deeper cheesing, though.

Thanks! I only have the rotate and balance, courtesy of Discount Tire, and a thrust alignment (with a re-torque of the lower control arms) left to do. That's all for tomorrow.

I forgot, i also did an oil change, as well. I replaced the engine air filter Thursday, so that doesn't leave much else to get caught up on. I'm about to hit 120k miles.

Yeah, I've been non-stop all day and forgot to eat, so I'm having some angry orchard while the wife does her nails. After that, dinner.

The brake work fixed a weird grinding noise I had when braking. One I've never heard before. I know @Texoma heard the weird brake grinding. It's gone now, but I can feel the crappy pad and rotor situation, so that's on the agenda for the next paycheck.

I’ll hoping so hard to stay out if it now. It’s a HUGE difference.

Yep. I rarely get over 1/3 throttle. My worst mpg, to date, is 14.1, hauling ass everywhere lol. The day of this past trail ride is at least 16.5 mpg. I'm at 270 miles to this tank, with over 1/8 left on the gauge.

I usually don’t either but having the power back has been nice. I’m gonna drive normal this tank.

I don't wash the bed as hard because there's a fridge there.

Driving conditions is a bigger impact than anything I've come across for mileage, minus towing or hauling weight.
