Sometimes this forum makes me feel young, and sometimes it makes me feel so very old.

It’s better in Spanish or Russian? What the hell language is this? I like it when the lady vaporizes her useless husband and trades him in on a Robogrip.

I like it. Time and place-off the top of my head I know 3 configurations of high temp hi pressure corrosive environment fittings that I deal with that only respond to the air hammer treatment. And I’m so thankful for that.

It all sounded Greek to me. I freaking lost it when he said “robo grip” in English.

I’d say you’re right. Only a Greek would wear that sweater while working on his car.

I wonder what a mil.spec robo grip with a NATO procurement number is worth?

Yeah his old lady gave him only a couple seconds to fix that heating pipe, then he got tossed like so much Greek salad.

Note to self if I ever hook up with a Greek lady.

Heat the plug until cherry red with a large torch (mapp gas or rosebud tip on acetylene torch). Once plug is cherry red then turn torch off, grab pipe wrench with longest breaker bar possible. Plug will come right out.

    O and throw robogrip out.

This bolt extractor set from Harbor Freight worked for me in removing a stripped bolt before: I think you can find similar sets on Amazon too.

An assortment of Vise Grips can help as well. I’ve had success getting purchase with a set of vice grips and then tapping the vice grips with a plastic hammer.

If it's legit rounded off, that blows because of the ring around the outside to prevent accidental strikes. I'd drill it, but there's a whole 'nother can of worms there with different techniques. If u can still get a bite on it I'd heat the fuck out of it first then try and remove.

Remember heat expands shit, so you don’t want to heat the bolt, you want to head the surrounding surface. Use PB blaster, let it sink in for a few hours, spraying every 1/2 hours or so, then heat the surrounding area not the bolt directly, then use a quality 6 point socket and breaker bar.

Yep air hammer and a chisel bit to turn it is a lifesaver.

After someone rounds out a bolt and you have to fix it.

You can get a dremel cut a slit in it so a flat head screw driver can get in there. Hammer it in a little then crank it down with a long wrench. Gotta make sure you have the right screw driver with a spot on the back for the wrench
