I saw this yesterday. I can’t believe how quick you got it sent out and to Texas from California. You’re already killing it!
    Thank you!

Finally decided to pull the trigger after about 2 weeks of sitting on the fence and about an hour devoted to reading this thread. Could not find a single negative thing about it besides some user errors. Most excited about being able to start my truck from my room in the cold mornings and hot Summer afternoons and especially excited to be able to start it from the tent when I am outdoors.

Let me tell you! I've never dealt with anyone like Jimmy before. I purchased the remote start and smart phone module from him on a Monday, and it was at my doorstep by Wednesday of the same week. I was able to set up the remote start on my own but the smart phone module was giving me issues. So I decided to reach out to him after business hours, and to my surprise he didn't hesitate to give me his phone number and then proceeded with guiding me to over the phone and later we met in person to get it squared away. His customer service is top notch, and truly cares that you are satisfied. I stand behind N2 designs, and I'm excited to see what else he has in store.

Much thanks to Jimmy @N2DesignsInc !

Placed my order and less than 2 hours later, shipped with tracking number!!!
Hopefully I can get it installed without any hiccups
    :fingerscrossed:

    Thanks again, great customer service.

Edit- ordered on Tuesday, received on Thursday, was a little hesitant about the install, reached out to Jimmy and within a few hours he is personally installing the starter for me. Everything works perfectly. Super cool guy and he really knows his sh*t! Alsogave me a peek at one his upcoming projects for the Tacoma, going to be a game changer!!!

I’m curious for anyone that has the remote start kit and smart phone module installed on their Tacoma. I’m soooo close to purchasing.. few questions!

    1. How far from the vehicle will the remote start work w/ key fob?
    2. How far from the vehicle will remote start work w/ Smart Phone app?
    3. Once the vehicle has been started with either the key fob or app, does it keep the doors locked?
    4. If the doors are locked, or stays locked after remote starting, are you able to unlock the vehicle w/ your key fob, app, or just by placing your hand on the door handle?

    Thanks in advance!
    - Aaron

Couldn't have said it better, thanks Tim! (Wanna come work for us? haha)

I wanted to add a little tid bit to Tim's answer in #2, as long as your phone has decent service or WiFi, AND your vehicle is also got decent service to the module (LTE/4G/3G) coverage area. Meaning you could have full bars LTE or be on the fastest WiFi with your phone, but if your vehicle is 4 stories below ground in a concrete parking structure, don't expect much. It's only fair as you wouldn't be able to stream Netflix on your phone down there either! Looks Like Aaron already ordered though, so he's going to be one happy guy. Quite possibly the best mod, or at least the best tech-gadget mod possible!

You’re correct, I caved and purchased before ya answered me. It’s been soooo damn hot in FL. I’m waiting like a little kid on Xmas morning. Been checking my tracking all day and I’m just sitting in “Pre-Shipment” can’t wait to see an expected delivery date. I’ll probably end up getting one for my wife’s RAV4 as well.

Have been using this for a few months in the Phoenix heat, it has been a top purchase for the truck.

Yesterday, though my car got so hot the Cell Phone transmitter wouldn't activate. Once I got home back to the garage and the car was cool it worked no problem. I think 140 to 150 degrees cabin temp is the max operating temperature for the wireless portion. My cellphone shut off on the drive home as well.

We have the opposite (same?) problem up here in the winter......once you get 40 below the phones don’t want to work outside.

@N2DesignsInc - about to trade into another taco. going from H-key to push button. pretty sure that I have to purchase another starter module, so question is: if I pull my cell module will it work with the new module?

    thanks in advance!

Yup, it sure will! You just have to peel back all the tessa (felt) tape in the LLRS-01 adapter portion of the smart module as the connections will mate up differently, but they're there, I don't snip them like the competition to make you have to buy hardware you already have! We're all about versatility and universal-use! We like saving you $$$.

Ok so before deciding when to purchase, what’s this game changer? :) would hate to purchase something today and in the very near future regret the purchase as it’s lacking a feature.... such as stays running after door is open !

    "sells it for more"

Same hardware, same factory source. I used to distribute/drop ship for a brief period for them.

All things aside, no one beats our support level and the odd hours you can get someone live on the phone to assist.
