Well last spring I would not have even attempted a 30 or 40 yard shot.
And my 20 yard group would have been on a barn door.
    Lots of practice.
And like you said it would move after some practice.

I replaced my sight with a IQ with Retina Lock last year.
Was so surprised how much I was torquing the bow.
It immediately shrunk my group by 50%.
This year a new set of glasses. (After 7 years)
So after 8 months of not touching it, I’m so far ahead of last year....
I wonder if deer can hear bones creak and snap cause mine sure did on those 3 shots. Lol..

    Morning all:

    :facepalm::laughing:

Sounds like you definitely made a lot of progress, good luck on getting one of those Maine bruisers this year!
You just ran out of excuses though if you miss! :D

    Well, not really! :)
When I got the crossbow I thought I would have a lot of dead buck, so far I'm 1 out of 4 :annoyed:. One the expandable broadhead opened prematurely, the second I have no clue and was using a fixed blade BH, both at about 20yd, the third one I got, and the fourth one I misjudged the yardage and shot under it. Looks like I need to get my S*** together!

Kalifornia now requires a background check to buy ammo as of today. Local announcers son shoots trap and law only allows so much ammo to be sold to a individual. His son is one of the best in the country, they don't know what they will be able to do.
Also breaking news, redneck radio says boaters 25 and under are required to take a very long test to get a Boater card to operate watercraft. Age progressively goes up over next few years to eventually have all boaters in possession of a card, small boats too that you might only be fishing in.

Kalifornia is so screwed up. Too bad there are so many beautiful places in it.

    My go to excuse is
"DIDNT SEE A THING ALL DAY.
BUT I TOOK SOME PRACTICE SHOTS.. LOL

I range find all my area when a sit.

We just got the ok for crossbows here for bear and moose.
I think my expandable might be going away.
Fixed I think would be better for them.
I don't want to have a premature expandation.

And I can use my crossbow now for archery season.
Easier to walk with a compound than a cross.

So I need to decide if I'm going to ruin a target sighting in a broad head.

The preppers will still find a way to get some ammo.

Legislature here was going to investigate why gas prices went up, meanwhile, gas tax went up 5 or 6 cents today. :) Back when I managed a C-store, I think taxes including Fed was over 40 cents/gal. Bulk deliveries had state tax on top of the Federal tax.

Our next tank of gas will be 70 cents a gallon cheaper with the Harris Teeter gas rewards program. We cash in our grocery rewards once a month on a full tank. And don't forget senior Thursday. 60 & over get another 5% food discount!

    Evening all:
:woot: Got done with hooking up an electric start on a 30hp Mercury outboard today, now all I need to do is hook up a battery and see if it works.
I figure if it engages the flywheel without any wires melting I did it right!

    Amen!
Out a few days ago with Repo pup, up to the North Fork of the Feather River, 9 mile hike in on the PCT. Getting in shape for trips later in July. Great view of Lassen Peak 3/4 the way in, but downhill to the river. 5800' down to 5000' in 2.5 miles, then back up the next morning.
