I cant seem to find a matching case anywhere. I have a 2001 with the elocker v6 automatic, and add but I bought one out of a 2003 and the input shaft is different, its shorter and has another bearing surface.. Any one got any spares or ideas? It looks the same as the 4runner ones but the add plug is different. I would like a used one or maybe a line on a rebuild?

I had a manual and bought one from an auto. Also noticed the difference in shaft length, but it worked perfectly!

It will work. Just swap all the sensors over

oh man! I don't know, that shiny part on mine is thicker there is a bearing that runs on it and the other shaft won't even be touching it its like 2mm thicker. How long ago did you do it?

By the looks of the 2001 manual. The auto and manual shafts look different.

Are you talking about the round sensor? If so you remove the sensor and it installed right where the “plug” is on the other one.
