A group of my buddies are supposed to float one day this holiday weekend but now there's the chance of Tstorms predicted. So I doubt if I go.

A buddy was floating the south branch this past weekend when we got a bad rain storm on friday night. He said the river rose something crazy like 11ft over night.

Maybe? Bolt on plates over the affected areas?

I'm going to tube the whole front from the hood hinges forward and hang everything off tabs. Wildly stronger, and more room for other activities.

Hey Godfather, what do you and your boys on this thread do for a/t fluid maintenance? I’ve looked at other threads and there is absolutely no consensus. Don’t know why but I feel I can trust you guys. I am a bit gullible though. Thanks

I use a BG Fluid exchange machine. It's not a flush. The new fluid simply pushes out the old fluid. With the BG machine there is no added pressure to disturb the internals of the trans, it works off the trans own pressure. Google BG trans fluid exchange.

That sounds like a really good alternative. I want to get mine done soon, im at 75k and was gonna get it flushed at my inde shop, but am also toying with the idea of the repeated drain & fill that others are doing. Im assuming you have that machine at your shop?

My buddy here in Baltimore has a contract on this furnished little cabin on 5 acres in WV. Nothing fancy but It has electric, well & septic. It's near my cabin. It's just him, his wife & their yellow lab so it's all they need for weekend getaways. He plans on building a large deck off of it. His estimated mortgage will only be $240 a month, that's $60 bucks a week! His settlement date is the end of the month.
