just installed the EGR vent visors on my taco. the front ones work and look great, but the back ones seem to loose. i left the windows up for 48hrs. to let the tape stick, but 10 minutes after rolling the windows down the passenger side rear visor fell out. was wondering if anyone else has used these visors and have had any similiar problems.

I didn't like how well the tape was sticking, but I left the window up for a while and they seem to be doing pretty well now. Try getting out the heat gun and gently heat it up with the window up. Then let it set for a few more days.

One of my rear ones flew out on the highway with the window down. I went back and got it, it was fine, but both rear ones now currently sit in the garage.

I recently inquired at a dealership about getting some for my access cab. I was told that they've been recalled...he couldn't say what the issue was just that they've been recalled. He may have been yanking my chain or there is a problem for only the access cab's...or all of them...could have been a installation issues...who know? Anybody else heard this?

haven't heard anything about recalls on them, but i also purchased mine from autoanything. i absolutely love the front ones they fit perfect and don't scratch the window when rolled all the way up. The back ones are nothing like the front ones. I called autoanything and told them about how loose they fit and that they fell off. They called the manufacturer and they said they aren't supposed to be so loose, they are sending me a new pair maybe these will fit better... if not they will just sit in the garage with the other pair ar maybe even make the garbage.
