I think you can have a use for each type of clay. I have used I think almost all types of clay versions from the original to sponges, to the mitts/rag. Personally, I am a fan of the original clays over all. The main reason is I can “feel” the paint better. The sponges have too much thickness that you can’t feel it. The mitts are my second go to. Depending on the customer, if I am doing a one step paint correction, I normally just use a mitt. But, if I’m doing a two step polish, coating, etc., I always use the old clay bars. I just like them better. Yes you run the risk of dropping it, but if you can hold them properly, you rarely will drop one. I couldn’t tell you the last time I dropped one of my clay bars.

I think that's retro/vintage Linoleum tiles. Looks like someone got 4 cases in 4 colors, did the floor & he's using floor mats to mark the right parking spot / rain catchers. Well my read on it. I had carpet in a garage once. Leftover I put down - rain went right through it & out the floor drain. Carpet would dry in a day. Had to sweep it occasionally. Was really nice getting in/out of the car on carpet. Was trash in 3 years, but didn't stink & floor under was fine.

$160 per gallon, what the fuck? You can get a gallon of each Uber, Ech2o and n914 with a 25% sale (usually don't need to wait a week) for that price.

And I thought I overspent on detailing products.

Jeez I didn’t bother to look at the gallon price. Screw that. The last rinseless concentrate I bought for around $40 for a gallon.
