    No. I just paid almost $40k for a truck and the steering wheel is shit and I haven't even had it for a year! :annoyed:

    I understand your sentiment. I haven't touched a 3rd gen steering wheel yet but I have a hard time thinking that they're easily gouged or scratched.
    Good luck with the repair. If they dont fix it, I would just take a razor blade and shave it off.

    Just a bit of advice, most dealers will goodwill some items that would otherwise not be covered under warranty. However, if you were to get them to goodwill this minor thing, you will have burned yourself for something later on.
