One hour to Happy Fourth TTC! You all be safe and happy, because you mean the world to me! Pool day and Burgers for wife's reward on all the hard work she put into the sunroom renovation. It's way cool, and I will post a few photos (mostly for @T4Rgurl !) after we turn the new rug over and I clean up my cabinet next to the chair.

    And AWESOME @CedarPark !

I had a flow master 40 now. Sounds great but I'm going with Dirty Deeds Industries.

Back from my scoot trip, have a question for the hive mind... I picked up a nail in one of the Tundy tires; long story, but I drove at least from Barstow, CA to Albuquerque, NM with it in place. Stopped at a buddy's house in ALB for the night, mentioned the nail, and he said, "hell, let me plug that for you"... Out comes this little $8 Slime kit, and we threw a plug in. I Googled the process up, and sure as hell, it's a pretty common and long lasting fix. Drove 11 hours home yesterday with no incidents. So here is the question... I'm thinking of having DT pull that plug out and replace it with a mushroom plug, applied from the inside. I'm just a little sketchy about the Slime product, even though it appears to work well.

    Watcha think?

Only proper way to fix a tyre is plug patch from the inside.

The rubber worm plugs are supposed to be emergency repairs to get you outa dodge.

Depending on where the nail went in, it may not be fixable by a shop... if done right the rubber worms can hold for the life of the tyre.

Carry the slime kit in my SxS and never had a problem with them. Me personally would not want a plug in a tire on a daily driver. I would have them break it down and vulcanize a patch on the inside

All right, looks like I'll be giving DT a visit tomorrow for a more permanent fix. The nail was in the tread, not sidewall, so I don't think there will be any issue. Thanks!
