    Need some help.

    Any thermopro experts?

What’s the circle arrow on the base station under the channel?

Just turned on my thermopro TP-20 to test and ensure my probes are working right and reads a correct temp before I cook tomorrow . One probe is reading correct, the other is reading way off. Switched to my back up probes and the same thing.

Never seen the circle arrow before and can’t seem to find a quality answer on the googler.

Pooper ain’t the Ronco Set It and Forget It. You still have to tend to it and make sure things are on track. Now I will say it is not as much work but I’ve said it a bunch of times here it’s not the vessel that makes for good or bad food. All of them have their place and I don’t ever foresee a time when I won’t have a pooper in my arsenal.

Honestly I don't do chicken at 225°, although do most everything else. I like my chicken skin crispy. Of course assuming it is skin on bone in.

Usually go at 300-325 for chicken skin on. Just did it the other night with thighs for me and split breasts for me. 2.5 hours at ~300 on the grill grates and they were perfect

Like most things cooking it depends. On a lot of factors. Just keep an eye on it until you get it dialed in.

When I was young used to think naps were punishment. Now I think they are a reward. But will not nap while smoking or running any of the grills. Some may say I am brain washed but I sleep better at night with an open eye while smoking or grilling.

During Desert Storm\Shield wore this hat

And was also the main Engineering Spaces Group Supervisor, propulsion assistant. I don't trust fire of any type, it has a mind of its own.

They will even eat coots, but are pretty good at fishing

But would rather fight and steal from others than do their own fishing

Still glad that Ben Franklin guy didn't get his way. Turkeys?! I think not..

Although turkeys are better on a spinning spit, or so I have heard.

Was shooting Eagles a couple of years ago on the Mississippi and seen some blue in the sky, with smoke. I was about 20 miles away to the North got home and figured out what it was although I had a good idea already. I was damn near 30 before I realized fucking Airdales was 2 words and not one LOL. Seen enough Hornets in my day, but on the next day a Sunday found a bluff above the airport in La Crosse that thought was a good spot. It was.

I’m just the same way with the Bradley smokers. I don’t want to have to go out looking for a specific thing to be able to smoke something like the pellets or pucks with the Bradley’s. I can get charcoal anywhere and it’s easy to find smoking chunks. I don’t want to have to make a 20 minute trip to get stuff to smoke some meat.

How do they really do though? I notice most sell a searing box to use with them. I’m assuming that’s when you use them to grill? I’ve never been around one so don’t know much more than I’ve seen online with people using them.
