    I had a buddy who moved to Pacifica....working for United in SF.
    We grew up surfing together. I surfed all over Cali. Before that.
    Visited him a few times there.
    Places I remember, Super Tubes?
    Santa Cruz of course, Middles and another place out in the country, Arroyo Canyon or beach? Don’t remember since it was late 80’s.
    I do remember at that Arroyo place.....I was sitting out in the water and a whale popped up behind me and blew air....scared the shit outta me! There was a bunch of windsurfers there too. Maybe the wrong name of that place.
    Regardless, that water was frikin cold, full wetsuit, even in August.
    Oh..also Sharp’s Park?
    I was out there a few years ago, non-surf trip....took my daughter.
    Monterey Bay, aquarium, Carmel, then up to Point Reyes, Drakes beach.
    Beautiful there.
    Walked out to that dang lighthouse. A clear day.
    Those steps going back up kicked my ass......
