Soooo, I wanted to get everyones opinion on which clutch kit I should install in my truck. Here are the truck specs:

    Truck: 2012 TRD Sport DCSB
Mods: Magnuson SC w/ 2.85 pulley, Lifted on 35's, Heavy Armor, Stock Gearing.

Here are the options I am looking at:

    https://shop.exedyusa.com/exedy-rac...cerametallic-clutch-kit/16957a/i-2282021.aspx
I would go with the thick disc variation of this.

    https://www.advancedclutch.com/product/hd-race-rigid-6-pad-ta3-hdr6-2
I would pair this with a Toyota OEM throwout bearing.

    https://www.urdusa.com/competition-clutch-stage-iii-clutch-kit-for-1gr-fe-6-speed/
I would pair this with a Toyota OEM throwout bearing.

I know URD kits are popular, but thats not an option for me. (more details to come).

Hey, Our trucks are pretty much identical on specs accept I have 4.56 gearing. What did you end up going with? I'm considering the Exedy stage 2.

    Some of the things...
I’ve had the stage II and stage III Urd clutch setups. The stage II drives like stock but has better holding power. The stage III is a bit more aggressive but is stellar for wheeling where your at crawl speeds. Your poor truck on stock gearing will destroy any clutch so consider that before you spend any money. What’s the deal with your throw out bearing situation?

Take a look at a Center Force Dual Diaphragm, and be sure to resurface your fly wheel and check the ring gear.......My Taco is an auto, this was the clutch I put in my vintage Mustang after lots of research and have been very happy so far about 11 months in.......

I’ve been on an Exedy stage I for almost 100k. Still going strong although very heavy on the pedal.
