Nice work, do you have any more detailed pictures for this mod. I've been trying to find out info and have been coming up empty handed.

    Here are the supplies:

    eyeballs
hands (one will work, but two make it easier)
    old ass razorblade

Step1: Using your eyes, look at where you want to cut your fender
Step2: Using your hand(s), cut the fender

Could be worse lol, saw this in Facebook marketplace

haha, I actually just posted because it's been too long for like 2 years, and I finally decided to cut it. Also, @dziner and I were just talking about how I cut up my fenders with a razorblade haha

Replaced my JBA UCA balljoints today

Shout out to @loosnut for teaching me the ratchet strap trick, and @EatSleepTacos for the prybar tip, which is needed if you have spindle gussets and this balljoint.

Wire brushed and prepped and painted the shock, tie rod, LCA skid, and spindle as well.

Everything torqued to spec and anti seize was applied where appropriate

I did 7 pumps of grease as recommended was 5-10

    Much better!

It feels good getting the fresh joints on there. Did you just replace due to rust or did they need replacing otherwise? One of mine had play in it, so it worked out that Marlin had the recall to send out free new ones.

I was gonna ask what brand for the paint, but here's my answer. I need to freshen mine up as well. I did the bushings last month. I still need to do BJs. Also need to change the bearing on the bottom of my kings where it mounts to the LCA as well as regrease the LCA bushings. I'm still searchin for my squeak.

Yeah it does! The UCA’s were wheeled by @Urineovrurhead before me, and both boots were torn. I figured $63 a side is cheap enough to replace. After a short drive on the new ones my steering does feel better now! Tighter I suppose. And nice you got some free ones.

After I removed the old ones, they moved pretty easy compared to the new ones, that’s for sure

That paint legit is the same red! Also, I’m done chasing squeaks, being that I have 3 year old Dakar’s in the rear haha
