Just want to get done what I need to get done, and try to enjoy my weekend, before I go on-call Monday...

Was looking to ride out to the Cape tonight, then ride home tomorrow... but, weather-wise, tomorrow looks like a wash... so...

I'm doing some work this morning, but watering and about 30 minutes of weed eating. I'll be inside and hiding from the heat the rest of the day probably. Anyone catch some good fireworks? I went to my aunt and uncle's house for some around 8:30 last night. My cousins brought fuse connectors and timers into the display for the first time and put on a good show!

Some quick changes over since last winter.
Rear suspension is "done." (minus extended bump-stops. I stuffed the rear tire in the wheel well climbing down a rock staircase obstacle)
80 series LC 7.5 wrap coils
    FJ bilstein 5160s
    SS adj trac bar
These rear coils flex out great! I went on a run last weekend being the only rig with open diffs front and rear and had no traction issues.

True North Fabrication hybrid from bumper is on.
Oem bumper turn signals swapped to leds in corner lenses.
flushed the trans again after two weeks. It immediately got dirty again so the detergent is doing its job.

The gen specific Bilstein 6112 coilovers I have are equipped with factory 550lb coils. I am currently setting at the 7 of 9 circlip. I Think when I install a winch I will be swapping to the King 14", 650lb coils that wheelers offers directly with the 3rd gen 4R spec'd 6112s.

Morning all! Hope you've all still got all your body parts this morning.

My idiot neighbor (who lives on the state) set off probably $1000 of fireworks last night, starting around 11. I kept hoping for a sudden cessation and a scream, but no such luck. :notsure:

I think he means clear coat. Normally you sand them down through the range of sand papers up to the polish grit and when it's clear looking wipe it down with alcohol then clearcoat it.

I celebrated the fourth by finally replacing my Samsung lnt4664 HD TV that I bought in 2007 for like $2000. It still works great it's 1080P but it no longer likes to turn on in humidity due to a back light short. I tried to fix it but you have to replace the whole board for one of the back lights and that would cost over $100. Once the TV is on it works fine so all winter there's no issue. But in the summertime the humidity makes it short out. We don't have air-conditioning so for the past two years we just left the TV on for the entire summer. I said screw this and the TV that I wanted that was also consumer reports And cnet etc best buy is on sale at BJ's.

Wow what a difference this TV is amazing I really like it because it has a built-in Roku it has 4K HDR it has built-in 90 minute buffering for local channels it's really got everything TV and an amazing picture for thousands of dollars less than the cost of these features on a Sony or LG.
    It's a TCL 55" if you're looking to get a new TV I highly recommend it for only $480 it's a steal.

That's what I paid for my 55" LG about a year and a half ago. It's also a 4K smart TV, but LG's smart TV functionality isn't great. Having Roku's interface sounds a lot better.

What do you do for sound? If you don't have something separate from the internal TV speakers, it's worth doing!

Very nice wedding today, great vendors, outdoor cooking by one of the best within 100 miles I would say easily (heirloom catering). Very nicely put together, extra lighting indoor and out, amazing arbor/flowers, live band, airstream photo booth, balloons everywhere etc.. etc.... These guys really put together a dream wedding.:hattip:

And it's going to fucking pour from about 30 minutes before their ceremony until after dinner. :rain::rain::rain: I am HOPING, I can still get a fire going sometime and we can get the smore table they got supplies for set up and the fire going at least for a little. Oh, and sister in-law's car broke down on the way to her other job and she won't be coming by later tonight to help as planned. That's NBD, but still, just adds to it. Really hoping the rain holds until 430-5 and people start working their way inside after cock-tail hour. Have an emergency tent for outside they got set up this morning, but still...not ideal.

    Wish us luck!!:fingerscrossed::fingerscrossed:
