I am new to the TW forum and have recently joined in the tacoma game. Original rig was a 1984 solid axle toyota pickup which sadly was totaled out by a small rock slide.
current rig is a 2019 OR with only mod being the baja designs squadron sport. Looking for advice on sliders and skids that have easy install without drilling. was looking through RCI. Thoughts?

    Welcome to TW!

As for sliders and skids, it probably will depend on where you are located. There are several reputable companies and they are from coast to coast. As long as you are happy with the aesthetics of one slider or another, then you would likely go with someone closer as both skids and (mostly) sliders are costly to ship.
Out in the Bay Area, Bay Area Metal Fabrication is close and fits my needs. I know that MobTown is nice out east. So, I would look at the two companies mentioned and then search for others as I there are many more companies that make great products. And other members can weigh in on what products they use. Also, read through some of the Build threads, as those give some great ideas.

I have BAMF 96” sliders on my DCLB OR. They were bolted on. I will also likely purchase the skid plate trilogy from BAMF. Though one of the skids requires a reroute of the exhaust, though, so maybe that’s a reason to look at another company. I chose BAMF mostly because they are reputable, give back to the community (look into what they did for TW members after another company filed Chapter 11 and left 100s of paying customers without their products), and make dang good products. For many of their products, they use 1/4” steel, rather than 3/16”. So, the weight is a little more, but it does offer a little more protection. I mentioned this as your needs may vary.
