    Nice job. Be mindful when opening door that electrical devices may still be plugged in.

    Thanks! I always hated when wires go back and forth from the front seats. Ive never done anything like this before, but the install process was super simple! Doing the other rear door soon.

    My first thought was, "Why in the world would I want to put a usb plug in the back?" Then I remembered that every kid now has a device of some kind whether it's a gaming thing or a phone. Good idea op. I would go for the back of the center console but I don't think there is a wrong answer on this one.

    Well done!

    Thank you! I had similar thoughts at first, but now that I have it, I’m glad I did it. The center console was my first idea. I honestly don’t remember why I changed my mind, but I like it.

    Good idea! For some reason I thought the Sports had some in the back, since the OR (mine does) has two in the center console.

    There is actually an option to have this easily installed on the back of the center console for those trucks that do not already come with it in the back. That is much easier than doing what you did, but you did a good job though!

    Neat. I also have thought it would be cool to have one by the center console armrest as well. Nice work

    Nice install.

    You can also put one of these in the rear of the console.

    @Grossomotto
    Sweet! Does that have an inverter integrated into it or do those power outlets not work?

    So my first thought what to put it into the center console. The only reason I changed my mind is because I had never taken a car door apart so I figured why not. It was a fun idea. :) and I’m happy with the result! Wow, that 400w dual outlet/ USB is great, @Grossomotto ! Where is the power coming from? Is it straight from the battery with an inline fuse?

    Welcome to the forum. I'd have never thought to put it in the door.

    The power is from the inverter

    I did the 400 anytime mod. But it’s been a while. Which wires are you tapping into for this outlet? I am in need of this exact setup.
