Yep, plenty of room to spare. It's a cheap Contigo tumbler from Walmart. Even my big Ozark Trail tumblers fit in that cup holder. :notsure:

Start with entry #92 and there are several entries after that that talk about what he did to sound proof his cab.

I think the grill should be removed and sanded, the Crome is not gonna give up easy. Then wipe with just below acetone, whatever that is. Paint right after I hear the plastic softens and excepts the paint better. No matter what if the surface isn’t clean and ready you are screwed.

Thank you! Yeah, spending time on the McMaster Carr website can be illuminating. Also, shout out to @JLee for the great bed rack.

I just went the other way. After having several sets of Katzkin over the years, I switched to Roadwire. Definitely happy with my choice.

Oh, I know! I've still got my yellow and green hardcopy around here somewhere, mostly for nostalgia now. One really cool feature was the tutorial for each section where they would explain the different types of say, pipe, available and how and where each one is used.

Yesterday I replaced my front and rear door speakers with some Kickers. I was originally planning on removing the plastic on the inside of the doors and sound proofing more, but with the heat it seemed like it would of been a gooey mess. I was able to get about 2/3 of the inside of the outer door walls and around the speakers. That and the new speakers are a huge improvement in sound. I'm planning on replacing the tweeters next. Nice MT or AT? I bought this truck for these reasons: Daily driving, fishing, camping, and hopefully doing some small game hunting for the first time this year.
Mostly I am looking into these things:
    1. Tonneau cover (check already got it)
    2. Rubber bed mat
    3. Seat covers
    4. The exhaust pipe thing. I don't even know what it does but it looks cool
    5. More capable offroad tires. Maybe BF GR AT's
    6. Bed shell
    7. Bed racks
    8. Maybe bed extender, do not think I will need it, but might be nice to have

This is the first vehicle I've purchased that I actually care about.

Alright doll-face, c'mon and bore me!

Thanks for the photos. This job is coming up shortly for me (I wanted to do it this weekend, but too much else going on).

I'm a glutton for punishment, so I'll probably be trying to remove and re-apply the plastic, goo and all, to get some sound deadening material on the door skins.

Anyone know what that "goo" is and what the "hardware store equivalent" is?

Same thing I said when I got mine around a year-and-a-half ago. Every vehicle I've owned until now I considered to be "disposable" (which isn't a bad thing when you live in the upper Midwest).

Removed the bed side decals, I have been going back and forth on the decision and did it this morning. I have to say I like it much better without them......much cleaner and the red 4x4 seemed out of place. I already removed all the chrome emblems previously.

I believe it may be a butyl rope-like material. One thing I learned recently while watching 5 Star Audio videos on youtube was that they use a knife to cut this sticky material so that the plastic vapor barrier comes off nice and clean. As you peel the plastic back you can slice the goo in half. You should be able to stick it back on afterwards without needing new material!

Here's a link to a video showing how they cut the barrier off cleanly
