Just put a pork butt on the smoker for tomorrow. Some spicy brown mustard and a mix of a couple pork rubs on the butt. I’ll have to add a picture of the finished product but here is the start.

Spatchcock’d turkey. Brined for 24 hours, injected with garlic butter, rubbed with olive oil/spicy molasses rub. Smoked on traeger for 3.5 hours. Pulled leg bones when getting it off the grill. They started coming out.

Sometimes its hard cooking for myself when my wife (crazy work hours) and teen daughter (living at her moms for the summer) are gone but I have recently said F it and started cooking slabs of meat and just eating it for days on end. Here we have 3-2-1 ribs with GMG beef rub and an extra layer of brown sugar for the first 3 hours. Then wrapped these baby’s up with butter and some more brown sugar and some organic apple juice. The last hour I had some sweet baby rays that I lathered these with and then did it a couple more times thru-out the final hour. 4AE6563F-1FE5-4086-88EC-5E5D3DC120D9.jpg 7DD4AE4F-697D-4675-97A6-A6A7179696A3.jpg

Bacon, egg, cheese, sambal breakfast sammies with home made bread.

Need one for in here and I'm not lying... I impressed myself with a super basic wonder bread loaf. I thought about just submitting the loaf, but I'll go with today's snack.

Just trying to get this up to 20 entries;)

Made some smoked pulled pork over mac n cheese aka "piggy mac".

B/I pork shoulder smoked 5hrs, on the grill for 10hrs total time. Rested for another 4hrs to time the meal right. Dry rub with some local brand rub called "DaKine".

The mac n cheese was a sharp cheddar melt into milk/butter/flour over elbow pasta.

Lay down mac n cheese, enough pork to cover it all, then a little more cheese on top of that. This is my kids helping (4yo), she loved it and got a 3rd helping:).
