Ok, so I'm throwing some Icon 2.5 with resi on my truck, finally. Along with Icon rears and the full leaf pack.

Question. Will I need new UCAs right away, from day one... Or can I go a few weeks until my next payday? Then get em. :)

    Thx

If your around 2.5 inches or less, no you won't need them right away. Alignments will be a little tough to dial in until you get them though.

Agreed... couple other things to think of
    - with aftermarket UCAs you could run extended versions of your CO’s for more travel
    - if you adjust COs after adding UCAs you’ll prob want to align again

Thanks @djthicks .. with the icons how much of a difference is there between regular and ext travel?

Should probably get the ext. Plan on doing more and more offroading!

From what I’ve seen posted in a 4R forum looks like about 1”... id shoot Icon and ask them directly with what you’re planning on pairing with as not all UCA’s are going to give you the same numbers

If you will be able to buy them in a few weeks just delay the install until then. UCAs are a good idea as they solve some of the problems that may arise from a lift and make it easier to align your truck to factory specs after a lift. If you are paying a shop to do the work you will pay basically the same price twice if you do the installs separate. If doing the work yourself you will have lots of rework.

@xguntherc is about to go down the Rabbit hole...
Got Icons COs and leafs... then idea of UCAs to utilize more travel sounds good as well...since it’s lifted why not fill in the wheel gap with bigger tires  and the list continues
