Has anyone ever heard of front differentials leaking at the axle outputs but only when the suspension is dropped (ie. on a floor jack). Driving on pavement doesn't result in leaks but if I jack up the truck or do some flex offroading with stoppage then it leaks a bit on one side or the other.

I first noticed it when I was jacking up the truck and after I lowered it I looked under the truck and saw oil coming from the outputs of the diff. I cleaned up the leaks and drove around pavement for another week or so with no leaks.

I just got back from a wheeling trip and the driver's side is leaking now.

I should note that I have RCV LT axles and I shorted my limit straps an inch after the first time it leaked.

Not sure if anyone has made a fix for this problem.

Have you done a differential drop all ready??

Once the range of motion has been increased by lifting the amount of drop by the axle has been increased to the point where the seal can no longer work as intended .

The more the lift the worse the problem .

The more the seal is abused the worse it will get till it fails completely (leaks all the time)
