Hey everybody, I have a question for you. I Recently bought my first Tacoma earlier this month(2015 base) and i am looking to get different tires for it. I currently have 215/70r15, and am looking to put 235/70r16 on. So my question for you guys is, do i need to add a lift kit on my truck to have these fit. If not will i need to add spacers to prevent rubbing? Thank you guys in advance

If your trucks height and wheel wells are similar to mine (2015 4x4 Sport), then you should be ok. The tires you want are 29” diameter. Mine are 30.6.

    You can compare sizes at

Yea, I wondered about that. I am not familiar with the restrictions on it.

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction. I found that the largest I can fit on my truck would be a 235/75/15 without having to remove the black box or adding a lift kit to it. So thank you everyone for helping me figure this out
