I am looking at a 179dbk by forest river fax wildwood for our family of 5. It would be an upgrade from our 98 Starcraft popup. I have a 2013 double cab 4x4 w/ a 3” lift w/ heavy dakars in rear. What sort of mpg do you guys think I’ll get and will I have any issues lugging it around.
Dry weight 3220 and 21’ long.

Whatever your MPG normally is just figure to cut that in half or more. The truck should do ok pulling it as long as you stay in 4th gear. When towing it make sure you have a WDH and brake controller.

You’ll get about 10mpg probably. These trucks can pull the weight fine but you better bring some gas cans or only go places with frequent gas stations.

I have a Coachmen about that same size which is by Forest River. The dry weight they list is a little low to actual but you will be ok towing as long as you enjoy the high RPM of highway speeds. Ooops you have a 4.0 so it won't be as bad as my 3rd gen as it relates to high highway RPMs My truck is lifted and heavier than stock and I get about 9 MPG here in mostly flat Florida.
