Good afternoon all, after years of hard work, I was able to purchase a brand new truck. I'll be honest, Toyota was not the brand I initially looked at. I have a 02 Dakota that needed a break from being a daily driver. I looked at F150's and Silverados but it was more truck than I needed. After this realization I looked at the Canyon and Colorado but was not impressed. Then came the Wifes oil change on her Jeep, I wandered into the Toyota lot while waiting. I had always been impressed with the ruggedness of Toyota. After a couple of test drives, I was sold and have had her for about a year. Better tires is all I have added and the mod bug is biting hard.

Hahaha, I've seen how crazy it can get modifying these amazing trucks. I am pricing out a lift, blackout kit for the chrome logos and interior trim, a grille and most likely bumpers/brush-guards. It will take time but it's worth the work. It's a daily driver plus my weekend explorer.

I just put an order in for sliders this weekend, lift and tires are next, will have to wait for the next bonus check for those though. It's always a work in progress and never ending. :burnrubber::transformer::spending:

As far as which truck you picked we all think you made the right choice . A lot of us left 1500 or F150 to come down to this size . GL .

The Tacoma was the closest in size to my Dakota that I love and it goes so many place the large bodies won't.

Sweet truck. I was on the fence between SR5 and OR. I went with the OR but at times wish I'd just gone SR5 and worked in some mods.

There were features I didn't really need on the OR, such as crawl mode plus I was not a fan of the color options in my area. The truck I got was the only one that had the rims color matched to the truck plus the right amount of features.
