Is it a 301 or 302 set? Color is 03

Cool but it does not look like a Ma Bell regular stock trimline. Promotional phone perhaps? True story: When I worked for Ma Bell I had a customer aske me for a banana phone with smash buttons and a long rope. Translation: yellow trimline with touch tone and a 13ft cord.

In the 30's and 40's most home builders but a telephone nook near the front door. I worked in an older area of Maryland and running wire for phones in different locations was always fun.

Nice! I do not think we were that hi-tech for field phones in Vietnam. Although we had a 2000 line Stromberg Carlson XY stepper in ICORE. BTW do you want us to install a whiskey shelf over the ice dispenser?

Think I have one of each. One from 1939 and another from the early 50's
Also have a Spacesaver wall mount dial/handset with external ringer. Dial /handset 30's/40's vintage and ringer from very early 1900's. Has a picture of a candlestick on the wiring sheet inside.

    Stromberg-Carlson 1894 vintage...

We had a rotary phone next to the bird's cage about 30 years ago. He quickly learned toFreddie_4x6.jpg imitate the sound of dialing whenever someone picked up the phone. Still miss Freddy. He was a character.

Morning folks. A beautiful morning here in northeast PA.

I forgot Lynn has this phone on her vanity in our bedroom - she always wanted a pink phone so I got her one for Christmas a few years ago.

Going well. Just got back from halibut fishing out of Whiskey Gulch this past Wed. Fished a poor catching tide with short slack, but managed to catch limit two of three days, only one short the third day. Well over 100 lbs of fillets split 3 ways. No complaints. :)

Hope all is well with everyone.

I mentioned to my wife the response to my post about Freddie. She insisted I mention one incident.

Incidentally, Freddie had the run of the house whenever we would let him out. He had a fairly good vocabulary, but there were folks who did not believe the bird could speak understandable words, so I (unbeknownst to anyone else) taught him to say "Bullsh**." Shortly thereafter we went on an extended vacation and had a friend, who was a firefighter, (call her Dawn to simplify the story) stay in the house. Dawn and Freddie hit it off big time. One morning, while fixing breakfast, she dropped the spatula and and responded with "Bullsh**." That evening she was exercising, sitting on the floor, with her feet spread far apart, alternatively reaching for each foot. Freddie followed her movements for a couple of times, then stopped, looked at her and said, "Bullsh**." Dawn panicked and called a friend and asked how to unteach the bird before we got home. We had a good laugh when we got home.

    Fishing report?
    No fishing this weekend.
Did add 50’ ( total of 100 ) to the new fly road.
I was on the backing on the false casts..
    Made a couple of leaders.
Albright knot is my new fav knot to join line.
    Trilene knot for flies.

Maybe I can sneak out this week and get some dusk fishing in..

    Evening all:

    That's comical!
We had one parakeet that my grandmother taught to talk, I think one of the things it could say was "pretty boy", maybe there were others.
Geez, that was about 65years ago.
