Back home from the long weekend in Rochester. Left up there at around 11am, and got to Danbury at my parents house at around 4:30. Usual traffic... Some at the "busier" places, but nothing crazy.

Not looking forward to work tomorrow, but most of all not looking forward to firing up the laptop tonight to go through crap from Wednesday afternoon after I left at 1, and from Friday.

Plus have to get back on the cardio routine... Did nothing but eat drink while I was up there... Afraid of stepping on the scale tonight.

I just got into the office and am already not feeling it.

 

I was assuming a tab down that your slide bolt would catch. You've got the slides & locks, may as well them grab the top too.
I like the idea of 4 pistons that let it go straight up & can be locked up. But that's very similar to a lot of work.

Good evening all. Spent some time over the weekend on my babe ... 2015 Indian Scout. Visited Upstate NY and the Finger Lakes. She ran great.

 

God damn electric water heater was leaking on me, and I only realized it at around 8pm or so tonight.

had to call in reinforcements for help, a.k.a. my old man. Took a while to empty since it's a 50 gal tank, and the stupid release valve on the drain nozzle was clogged up or some shit. The wife called Whirlpool since we only bought it less than 5 years ago, and they gave us a return number to go to Lowe's (since that's where we bought it), and bring it back. Got there at around 9:30pm, they gave me what I paid for it which was $449. Went to buy a new one, and no more Whirlpool brand... now it's some other brand. After debating on which one to get because of size, and warranty, we only left there right at 10pm. Bought one and paid the difference which was $240, but has a 12 year warranty. Got home, put the new one in and only finished at around 11pm.

Being a home owner is real "fun"... I'm fucking beat.
