Hey guys so I had a few questions was hoping someone could help me out. I want to get some lift onto my 2016 qc sb Tacoma, I cant afford to shell out 3k$+ so I am most likely going with bilstien 5100’s with ome 885’s my question is for the rear, do I do a single aal or a progressive pack with overload? I tow a 3000 lb camper a couple times a year and just wondering what would be better. I would like a total of 3” of lift if possible, thanks

Replace the whole thing with heavy duty dakar leaf pack if you’re towing like that.

I’ve got 5100’s with 888’s in the front and Dakar’s in the rear with 5160’s.

No reason to lift unless you are going to bigger tires.

Truck is rated stock for more than 3k lbs... Dakars will run you $600+ more than AAL all-in. To each his own, though, it's your $$$!

I can tell you from experience that Dakar HDs are not bad. Ride isn't stiff even with only about 150 pounds daily in the bed, like everyone says. Just make sure you get the right length rear shocks so you aren't topping out on every bump. They are solid when I load my bed up closer to 600 pounds and don't sag at all even when fully loaded.

A tiny bit but I’d call it more “settling” than sagging. I don’t have any armor in the front yet so it’s stock up there but I’m gonna see what happens in a few months. I plan on switching over to 35’s and a high clearance bumper. Might need to explore other options with my suspension.
