so my SR 2019 2.7L did not bring fog lights...so i want to order a tacoma 3rd gen fog light kit....was looking to see if i got lucky and the wiring was there? i couldnt see any wiring for fog lights but i came across this on the grill? look @ pic! can anyone tell me what they are for? #01 is not connected to anything. #02 is plugged into. looks like a wire retainer to hold! (not sure) and #03 is same as #02 but looks like a sensor? can anyone tell me whats this for? its not the tacoma grill sensor!
2nd pic is #03 side view.
3rd pic is #01 top view.

#1 is the fog light harness, the other wires are the ambient temp sensor and for the second horn that SR trim trucks dont have

if it has tails for foglights they should be in the behind the valence where the fog holes are

You don't have to take the steering column apart, you can do just a regular switch if you prefer.

If indeed that is the fog light harness which i have on my truck and its just sitting there with nothing plugged in. Are you going to buy a whole new headlight stalk for your steering column with the switch on it? It's alot easier just to run a whole new wiring harness for your fog lights and then they are seperate and can still be on with your high beams as well. I did a whole write up on the install if your interested here is the link below.
