It's fun to goof with, but not used much lately... I think 1000 is too cheap to sell it as-is, especially knowing all it needs is a battery and carb cleaning. I'd sell it for more, but I'll prob do better if I fix it first.

Have you had to clean your carb often?

Long story short, my little brother kept messing the thing up. It was my dads and he was sick of fixing it for my brother, only for him to trash it within a month. It’s happened several times.

This last time, my brother left it in the rain with the seat off and the top of the airbox off; thing filled with water and sat. He took it apart and tried to get it working on his own, to no avail. So my dad said screw it, and gave it to me.

I brought it home and identified a handful of parts that were missing, including bolts, airbox pieces, no gas tank (he broke it), and other misc items. Took me about 600 to replace all the missing parts. He messed with the carb too, so I just pulled that and had a local shop rebuild it.

Yeah, it’s only a 250, but it was free to me with the exception of parts and labor to rebuild the carb.
