Bypassing Pioneer AVIC-X920BT?

    I recently purchased the Pioneer AVIC-X920BT out of the Amazon deal and I got it all installed. The only thingis that I can't for the life of me figure out how to bypass the security settings. I have tried grounding the park brake wire like I did in the past, but this time is a no go. It is a pain having to stop to input new coordinates into the navi unit. Anyone have any help for me?

    I did the mod to the wiring harness on mine like the link says. Works fine, no problems. Just disconnect the parking brake wire from the brake circuit before you ground it.

    Was it hard to get the pin out and move it over? I read through that link and a lot of people seemed to break the pin.

    It wasn't hard to do. Just follow the instructions on the video from that link. Just go slow. Use a good razor blade to make the cuts and don't try and force it out. If it doesn't pull out easy, just use the razor blade to widen the cut. Also, open the lock on the pins to remove tension when inserting the pin into the next opening.

    Its not difficult at all.
    I did it for my x910, and it was easy, just don't force it.

    Here is the video I used, and it was helpful, showing how to switch the wires out of the pin configuration.
